Miguelito Elementary School

The mission of Miguelito Elementary School, in partnership with the community and Lompoc Unified School District, is to provide a safe, positive learning environment where all students learn at their potential. We strongly believe in collaboration and professional learning communities to increase student achievement, develop critical-thinking skills and encourage lifelong learning.

Miguelito Elementary is a safe, inclusive, and respectful community where all students learn at high levels and develop a lifelong love of learning. Through collaboration among staff, families, and students, we foster responsibility, pride, and a strong sense of belonging. Our goal is to prepare students to thrive as engaged, contributing members of society.

Miguelito Elementary School, nestled in southwest Lompoc, serves approximately 650 students in a culturally diverse community. As part of Lompoc Unified School District, Miguelito offers a strong academic program supported by dedicated staff, enrichment opportunities, and student-led clubs. With field trips, after-school activities, and community involvement, the school fosters curiosity, responsibility, and inclusion. Miguelito operates on a traditional school calendar.
